It was exactly these questions that prompted me to create Self Care Coaching for Kids. This is a wholistic empowerment program based on the 8 pillars for children to learn how to best care for their own well-being; body, mind and spirit.
Whether they are struggling with confidence, low self-esteem, fitting in with their peers, feeling a sense of uncertainty with the changes occurring in our world or needing an extra boost to manage their time more efficiently with school work, these coaching tools will assist them with improving their mindset in all these areas and more!
With the 8 Pillars of Self Care Coaching for Kids your
child will learn empowerment tools to use for each of these areas:

- Increased confidence
- Higher self esteem

- Decrease in fear and anxiety

There is no better time than right now for children to learn these tools to last a lifetime!
The packages are offered in two ways; individual,one-one-one coaching or small group coaching.
Individual Coaching: Children needing more personal or specialized attention on an area or more specific challenge and their learning style does best with one-on-one teaching, then these packages are best for you.
Please note for Small Group Coaching: The minimum is 2 children and up to 4 children total can participate. The parent selects the children for the group and this is a great opportunity to add your child’s friends or even siblings that would like to enjoy the coaching together.

Self Care Kit for Home
Children learn to identify the emotions they are feeling internally and in relation to others. Once the emotions are identified, be it anger, sadness, fear, high-energy, low energy, etc., they are better understood and the SELF Care Kit tools can be utilized to help them process through those emotions.
Children go to the SELF Care space at home anytime throughout the day to use the tools they need in that moment to self-soothe; therefore, returning them to their natural, balanced state of being.
This results in less outbursts of reactionary behavior and more calm, centered responses to the emotions they are feeling.

Yoga and Meditation

I consider myself an “energy engineer” requested to guide them through their yoga practice introducing and expanding on concepts such as; yoga postures/movements, breathing exercises, positive affirmations, visualization, themed storytelling that teaches compassion, kindness and love, meditation to relax the body and calm the mind, and cross-lateral movements that strengthen the neurotransmitters/create new neuro-pathways in the brain for higher learning/better retention.

Meditation
The literal translation of Yoga Nidra is “Yogic Sleep” and is known as a sleep-based meditation practice. Yogic sleep is very different than our traditional idea of sleep. This type of sleep is hovering right above the sleep state to where the mind drifts off and the body falls asleep. It is during this deep state that intentions are placed that can go into our subconscious mind and be actualized and fulfilled with ease and grace without any rebuttal from the mind. Yoga Nidra is known to help reduce anxiety and depression, improve overall sleep quality, and help recover from habits, PTSD, and trauma.
If I had known these tools existed earlier in my life, where would I be now? It’s this very question and my own evolution and opening to who I truly am on this spiritual journey that I have made it my mission that every child have access to learning these life-transformative tools at an early age. These are tools to last throughout their lifetime!
