Sound surrounds and entrains the brain waves so when the mind is active, the brain waves resemble high peaks and low valleys and with the introduction of sound, they start to settle and slow down into more like rolling hills. This allows for greater body relaxation and deeper meditative states.

Sound Enhancements Used and Their Healing Properties

Symphonic Gong

The Gong is one of the oldest and very first musical instruments ever created, and in its many tones are found the sound of creation, the sound of “Om”. Due to it’s metal properties, the Gong is considered to hold masculine energy. Since the Crystal Singing Bowls are considered feminine energy, these two partner well in balancing the mental, emotional and physical body.

According to ancient wisdom, Symphonic Gongs vibrate at the same frequency as the body, allowing the body to engage in self-healing. Crystal Singing Bowls are made of 99.9% quartz crystal and playing them, they emit the properties of quartz crystal which is known as the “master healer” and is a great amplifier of thought and energy as well as the effect of the other crystals it is surrounded by. It is known to cleanse and enhance cells and organs. It enhances psychic ability, aids in concentration and opens up memory. They bring the body into balance by stimulating the immune system.

Reiki – Healing Through The Hands

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “Higher Power or God’s Wisdom” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “life force energy that is spiritually guided.” The Reiki practitioner holds their hands a few inches over the body while channeling this life force healing energy through the hands and into the body allowing the energy to go where it is needed.
